Children and Families

In the week

Our toddler group, Tiddlers, happens on Thursdays at St Peter's Church, Duxford, for children aged 0-4 and their adults to meet, play and chat.

About six times a year on Saturday mornings at Duxford church we hold a Craft Cafe with seasonal craft activities for all the family.

We work closely with our local Church of England primary school in Duxford.  Each week we lead collective worship in school and at least once a term children from school come to St Peter's church for a service.  Every year we help with a Church/School Day, where the whole school comes together to explore an aspect of the Christian faith.

There's also YouthInc for older primary school and secondary school aged young people.

On Sundays

Sunday Club, our children’s group, meets during the 10am service at Ickleton Church on the first Sunday of the 99054024-DFE3-4C6A-B1C3-8D029Amonth.  After a time for stories, crafts and games, the children join everyone else in church just before we receive communion.  The service lasts about an hour and refreshments are served afterwards.

There's an All Age Service on the second Sunday at Ickleton Church at 10am, which includes a mix of contemporary songs and hymns and a short talk, often along with some interactive storytelling and creative activity.  The service lasts about 45 minutes.

A Warm Hello

Here's what to expect if you're coming to Church on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at one of our three Churches (details here) for our main Sunday Service, which starts at 10am.

We usually serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the service.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Duxford and Ickleton Churches have a toilet.

Children are more than welcome to all of our 10am services, however the services on the first and second Sunday of the month in Ickleton are more children orientated.
