Annual report on the business of Ickleton Parochial Church Council

April 2022 to March 2023

Since the APCM of 2022 there have been 3 ordinary meetings of Ickleton PCC and a special meeting conducted via email with only 1 item - Licensing of Derek Munday. The Standing Committee did not meet this year.
At meetings the usual housekeeping items were discussed including finance, fabric and maintenance, continuing Covid arrangements and pattern of services as we emerged from the pandemic. Throughout the year there has been an ongoing focus on finance.
The maintenance of the church and preservation of the wall paintings continues to occupy the members of the PCC.

Annual Report SafeGuarding
April 2022 to March 2023

The PCC is committed to compliance with the Church of England’s policy – Promoting a Safer Church. We have an appointed safeguarding officer – Glynis Hammond. As part of her role Glynis ensures we continue to make progress against the parish safeguarding action plan. We have a fully trained PCC and the appropriate policies and guidelines in place to enable us to recognise and respond to any concerns raised whilst always ensuring confidentially for all involved.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

Here's what to expect if you're coming to Church on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at one of our three Churches (details here) for our main Sunday Service, which starts at 10am.

We usually serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the service.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Duxford and Ickleton Churches have a toilet.

Children are more than welcome to all of our 10am services, however the services on the first and second Sunday of the month in Ickleton are more children orientated.
