Fellowship Group annual report

This group has continued on Zoom during the past year, mostly led by Derek and myself, with other members of the group introducing the weekly Bible study.  It is very informal. Its main aim is to encourage one another to be much more aware of where God is at work in our lives and the things going on around us.  It is therefore a time when we explore practical Christianity.  We pray for one another and issues that are important to us, ranging from the personal to world events.  Everyone has found this to be very encouraging and supportive.
For much of the year, in our discussion of scripture, we have been going through the book of Acts, seeing how the early church started and the challenges that it faced – in many ways not very different from what we face today.
We stopped to join with others in the themes for discussion in advent groups and now again we are pausing to join the Lent themes leading up to Easter.
We would love others to join us.  Our focus is more on the practical rather than academic approach to Scripture so it is definitely appropriate for everyone.

A Warm Hello

Here's what to expect if you're coming to Church on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at one of our three Churches (details here) for our main Sunday Service, which starts at 10am.

We usually serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the service.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Duxford and Ickleton Churches have a toilet.

Children are more than welcome to all of our 10am services, however the services on the first and second Sunday of the month in Ickleton are more children orientated.
